⁵⁷ Then all the disciples forsook him and fled.

And they took Jesus and led him to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. ⁵⁸ And Peter followed him from afar off to the high priest’s palace, and went in and sat with the servants, to see the end of it.

⁵⁹ The chief priests and the elders and all the council sought false witness against Jesus in order to put him to death,
